Ir looks like T.I. will definitely return to prison after violating his probation this past summer. T.I.'s probation officer is recommending that the rapper face eight to 14 months in prison if his probation is revoked following his recent arrest in Los Angeles. However, T.I.'s attorneys say that amount of time is "erroneous" and that he should at most face between five to 11 months behind bars. T.I. was charged with three violations of his bond: possession of the drug ecstasy, testing positive for opiates and associating with a convicted felon.

In the end, the final decision will be up to the judge who T.I. will face on October 15th where he'll hear his fate.

Since his arrest T.I.'s probation officer and other federal officials demanded he return to Atlanta to face his fate.

According to TMZ:

Officials are "in the process" of determining if they will try to revoke T.I.'s probation in the wake of his arrest late last night. United States Attorney Sally Quillian Yates tells us, "The probation office is in the process of determining what happened and will make a recommendation regarding Mr. Harris when they have all the facts."

If officials determine T.I. did violate his probation, he could be sent back to the slammer to serve some serious prison time.

It's also being reported that the drugs that were found in T.I.'s car was indeed Ecstasy. An anonymous source reached out to blogger Sandra Rose to give a detailed about what happened that night:

Former Xscape singer Tameka “Tiny” Cottle is telling friends that the small amount of methamphetamine (street name Ecstasy) that was found in her possession during a traffic stop in West Hollywood Wednesday night was not hers.

Everyone in the car was taken into custody after police smelled marijuana and found a controlled substance in the car. According to a very credible source who asked to remain anonymous, Tiny told friends that she and her BFF Vanity were picked up at their hotel by her husband T.I. and his BFF C-Rod. The two couples were on their way to dinner when T.I., who was driving a Maybach, made an illegal u-turn on Sunset boulevard. We all know what happened next.

In the meantime, Tiny has told friends that the only drugs found in the car was the small amount of Ecstasy that did not belong to her.

C-Rod and his girlfriend Vanity were also arrested that night. I'm still shaking my head on this one. Even if a small amount of drugs were found that's still way too much in the first place because T.I. is on probation.

UPDATE: More details are emerging following the arrest of T.I. and his wife Tiny last night in Hollywood on felony drug charges. According to TMZ, the couple were originally stopped for making an illegal U-turn. While searching their car cops found a controlled substance. The controlled substance was not cocaine, but rather the class of controlled substance that triggered the arrest includes methamphetamines and ecstasy (it's still a felony though). Come on, son!

T.I. and Tiny were then handcuffed, placed in separate squad cars and taken to jail to be booked on felony possession of a controlled substance. The couple made bail and were released from lock-up around 4 a.m.

And apparently Tiny went from jail straight to Twitter to tweet her fans for their support. I mean really! Truthfully speaking, T.I. is going to need all the support he can get right now.

Well, damn.

T.I. and Tiny are in jail (at least at the time of this blog post).

It's only been a month since they wed in Miami and now it looks like their honeymoon phase has come to an abrupt end. According to TMZ.com the couple were arrested last night in Hollywood for possession of a controlled substance:

L.A. County Sheriff's deputies pulled over the multi-platinum selling rapper and his wife in a Maybach on Sunset Boulevard around 10:30PM. Deputies say they smelled marijuana, and after searching the vehicle they arrested T.I. and Tameka. The couples bail has been set at $10,000.

This is NOT a good look for T.I. He's still on probation on those federal weapons charges (and ironically he had been on probation from a 1998 arrest when he was arrested on the federal weapons charges in 2007!). Getting into trouble and more importantly getting arrested on brand new charges could violate his probation and send him right back to prison. He just came home five months ago! Maybe Tiny will re-activate her 'ride-or-die chick' status and take the rap for him this time. Good luck with that.

This is so disappointing. I was really rooting for these two...especially T.I. everything seemed to be going so well for him: marriage, a number one movie at the box office, a new album (King Uncaged) set for release next month, new endorsements. To go and muck it up like this is just stupid.

In an interview last week, T.I. spoke of his prison sentence, what he learned about himself while incarcerated, his return to the media spotlight and his new album:

"One learns so much in prison. I guess I learned different ways to manage circumstances - different approaches to best- and worse-case scenarios." Prison gave him time to think about how he previously approached his life. T.I. says he had to get honest with himself. "There's plenty of time for that openness. A lot of people use prison as a badge of honor, I learned that the badge of honor comes with staying out, not going in."

Oddly enough, T.I. says he did little writing in regard to his upcoming King Uncaged, an album he confidently told Rolling Stone was the "most significant return from incarceration that the game has had since Tupac Shakur's epic All Eyez on Me. A celebrated artist with a widely publicized legal situation goes into jail and comes out with the same level of success and artistry as when he went in. Maybe even more so. Yes, I believe I can do that."

Mmm-hmmm.

T.I. (along with Keri Hilson) took to the stage last night to perform at the Takers premiere after-party at club Boulevard. Chris Brown also showed off his moves to a packed house as he performed a medley of a couple of his top 10 hits.

However, it's Chris' performance as Jesse Attica in the movie that has everyone talking. For those of you who don't know, the singer did the majority of his stunt after convincing producers to allow him to leap through windows, scale buildings and jump on cars while filming a heated chase. He told MTV News:

"The most thrilling part about this movie is probably the stunts. I do, like, 96 per cent of my stunts. Some stunts they wanna use the doubles; I don't wanna use the double! And they're like, 'We have to for safety and insurance issues.' I think the most exciting parts are the stunts, getting to blow stuff up, shoot guns, you know what I'm saying. It's all fun!

When acting, I feel like it's cool to use your strengths, but it's also cool to use your other abilities as well. I didn't just wanna do movies that had consistent dancing and singing. I wanted to do stuff that pushes me as an actor at the end of the day. Because you have people like T.I. and Common that do stuff that's not around what they do in the entertainment industry as far as music, and they succeeded. So I just wanna branch over to that, especially like Will Smith. He comes from rapping and going right into the acting thing, so I wanna come from the singing parts and go into acting, and people can tell the difference. I think that with this role, it was more intense, more action, more stuff that I love to do, what I love to see in movies.

B.C.M. favorites Idris Elba, Chris Brown, Michael Ealy and T.I. were all on deck at the Takers movie premiere last night in Hollywood looking as good as they wanna look! I love the way Michael's eyes matched his shirt.

Ever heard of a wedding reception after-party? If not, now you have! I guess those reports of T.I. and Tiny flying back to Atlanta to celebrate their marriage were false because the newlywed couple were spotted at club Cameo in Miami partying it up with several of their wedding guests including Usher, Jermaine Dupri, Nelly and Jamie Foxx. Tiny changed into her third dress of the night while T.I. dressed down in a white tee.

HOW FREAKING HAPPY DO THEY LOOK?!

Just when you thought you'd have to wait a month or so to see exclusive pictures from T.I. and Tiny's big day, they're wedding reception pics have found their way onto Twitter! No surprise, right? From what I understand, no cameras were allowed at T.I. and Tiny's platinum wedding in Miami today, but that didn't stop a few of their celebrity friends/wedding guests from pulling out their Iphones and Blackberrys to tweet their own personal photos from the newlywed couple's reception and upload them on their Twitter pages. I'm sure there's a really good reason why T.I. and Tiny wanted no cameras at their wedding (Tiny's friend Kandi Burruss tweeted: "We're having so much fun! I wish I could tweet pics but I've been forbidden."). I don't blame them one bit! Had this been my wedding everybody's cell phone and camera would have been checked at the front door and given back to them after the reception. You don't wanna give up your phone for a couple of hours, you don't get in. Leave your gift at the door and vamoose! LOL!

Anyhoo, below are photos taken from the Twitter pages of Atlanta morning radio show host Ryan Cameron, comedian Lil Duval, celebrity stylist Leah Taylor, rapper Diamond, and T.I. and Tiny's wedding photographer Rob Ector. So, fortunately for all of you who've been wanting to catch just a little glimpse of the couple's special day, they were kind enough to share. The ceremony was officiated by former Atlanta mayor Andrew Young and began with El DeBarge singing several songs. Tiny walked down the isle to a bridal processional sang by Jamie Foxx. After the ceremony, the couple made their arrival to the wedding reception in a horse-drawn "Cinderella carriage" as fireworks exploded overhead.

Celebrities in attendance included: Bow Wow, Angela Simmons, El DeBarge (we all know T.I. and Tiny love grooving to El--to see why, click here!), Usher (looks like he was a groomsmen), Chilli, Young Dro, Jamie Foster Brown, Nelly and Ashanti, Jamie Foxx (who serenaded guests); and Monica, Toya Carter and Kandi Burruss who also served as Tiny's bridesmaids.

I'm pretty sure more pics will surface in the coming days and later on in an official pictorial with whichever popular Sister 2 Sister magazine they've been sold to.

It's official! After nearly ten years together 35-year-old Tiny has finally taken 29-year-old T.I. off the bachelor's block! The couple, who have weathered many storms throughout their relationship (break-ups and make-ups, the loss of loved ones including their stillborn daughter, jail time), but always professed their love and support for one another were married TODAY at a Miami Beach courthouse. According to US Weekly, the couple will wed again in front of close family and friends on a small private island off the coast of Miami tomorrow (Saturday, July 31) before returning to their hometown of Atlanta for their wedding reception. Afterward they plan to fly to Las Vegas to continue to celebrate their lives together as husband and wife.

Many (mostly groupies and jump-offs, I'm sure) thought this day would never come because over the years and in countless interviews when asked when she and T.I. would tie the knot, Tiny would always reply 'real soon.' I don't think anyone took her seriously until last week when an anonymous source posted a portion of T.I. and Tiny's wedding invitations online (see here). Then an alleged partial list of T.I. and Tiny's wedding guests --that inlcuded Chris Brown, Lebron James (and his girlfriend Savannah, Diddy, Jay Z & Beyonce, Trey Songz, Kandi Burruss, Toya Carter, Keri Hilson, Tyra Banks, Monique, DJ Khalid and Jamie Foster Brown--was released that made people think, 'this just may be real.' Well, just in case any of you still don't believe it, TMZ.com got a snapshot of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Harris' marriage license (below) that lets us all know that yes, this is real.

Congratulations to the newlywed couple!

I can't wait to see the photos. Atlanta-based photographer Robert Ector served as the official photographer for the wedding and rumor has it that the photos have already been sold to a popular magazine (my guess? Sister 2 Sister) for a whopping $300,000.00!

Looks like July 2010 is the month of celebrity weddings: actor/musician/Diddy's former manservant Fonzworth Bentley married his longtime girlfriend and actress Faune Chambers; Superbowl champion and New Orleans Saints defensive end Bobby McCray tied the knot with his girlfriend of two years Khadijah Haqq (she and her identical twin sister, Malika co-starred in the movie ATL with T.I.); Carmelo Anthony said 'I Do' to his longtime girlfriend LaLa Vasquez. Swizz Beatz will marry his boo Alicia Keys this month as well.

You know his face and that unforgettable name: Idris Elba. And this summer when his handsome face is plastered on the big screen of your nearest theater, if you're like me, for the first time ever you'll hear him speak in his real East London accent in his new movie Takers (in theaters August 27; the movie also co-stars Michael Ealy, T.I., Chris Brown and Steve Harris.)

In case you've been living under a rock or a in a cave, allow us to tell you a bit about Mr. Elba. If he were a chick, he'd be a vixen. If the gene pool were the lotto, he'd be the $300-million prize. He's a daddy, a divorce' and a good and grown 37. He keeps his private life and girlfriend drama out of the limelight...and that's always a good look!

But what's coming for him could possibly be more exciting than what is behind. He's caused quite a stir by accepting the role as Norse deity Heimdell in 2011's big-budget flick Thor. Heimdell's never been black before; that's proof positive that Idris has superhuman Jedi-like powers that turn casting directors into colorblind geniuses. The movie will likely be his best crossover role to date. And that's a good look too!

If you haven't heard by now, T.I. is home...well sort of. After serving about 7 months in federal prison in Arkansas, he was released 3 months before his scheduled release date to a halfway house near his home in Atlanta yesterday. According to his lawyer, T.I. reported to Dismas Charities Atlanta West in Georgia last night tonight where he'll remain for the next three months. After his sentence is completed, T.I. still has to complete 500 more hours of community service and 23 days of house arrest. As we all know, T.I., real name Clifford Harris, was sentenced to 366 days in the Forrest City penitentiary earlier this year, after he was busted in 2007 for sending his bodyguard/snitch out to buy machine guns and silencers.

He is blessed beyond belief. With his criminal record, the judge could have easily sent him to prison for 30+ years. Hopefully this holiday season will hold a special meaning to him and his family. And judging by the pictures of him reuniting with his two sons after his release, I think it will.

Congrats to T.I. who is still incarcerated on felony weapons charges. The rapper's last album aptly titled Paper Trail was certified double platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). That's a good look because most people aren't going to the record stores to purchase albums when they can easily (and illegally) download it on the Internet. Nearly a year after it's release (in September 2008), Paper Trail has remained on Billboard's Top 200 chart. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 568,000 copies in its first week, becoming T.I.'s best debut sales to date and the fourth highest debut of the year. It has also become T.I.'s most successful and biggest album to date.

T.I. is featured in a swagged-out photo spread in Smooth magazine. The rapper expounds on everything from the kind of swag he believes Barack Obama, our soon-to-be president of the United States (hey, can you blame me for being blatantly presumptuous in confidently thinking so?) should possess to his upcoming clothing line called AKOO (A King of Oneself) which he describes as 'upscale, classy American apparel' that crosses party lines to bring together Dope Boys and Democrats. Let him tell it, it's all done off the cuff. 'My music and my style both come natural. It's not in a rule book.'

T.I. ON FOLLOWING THE RULES OF FASHION: I do what feels right. If we're talking about white after Labor Day, I feel, as an older cat--or, should I say, distinguished gentleman--white pants are a no-no for me. If we talking about the ensemble I wore for the (the magazine's) photo shoot-black pants, white jacket-I can wear that year round. The '70s, the '60s and the Harlem Renaissance era inspired me. It was just clean back then. That Harlem Nights era was just real with the white sport coat and black tie, black pants, with the scarf over the overcoat.

T.I. ON HIS CLOTHING STYLE FROM BACK IN THE DAY & THE NAME BRANDS HE WORE: Polo, Jordans, Guess jeans suits, Used, Damaged, at one point. I'm not that proud of that error. I ain't do the Cross Colours. I did Tommy Hilfiger for a hot minute. One thing that I must say I grabbed from New York was the snorkels and bubble vest. I used to wear Starter suits. I went from one extreme to the next.

T.I. ON HIS NEW CLOTHING LINE AKOO: AKOO is for the guy who cares about how he looks. It's also for the cats who don't have as much swag as the next cat. Just because you ain't got no swag don't mean you have to look like it. If you buy my clothes, then the swag is on me. Furthermore, if you dress in AKOO and your girl doesn't like it, I'll replace her with a girl who does. I can't give you your money back, but I will get you a girl.'

Earlier this week, T.I. was photographed getting his pre-election vote on in Atlanta. It's a good thing seeing as though by the time Barack Obama gets himself situated in the White House, our boy T.I. will be taking up residence in the Big House.

T.I. has proven once again why he's the King of the South. The rapper's latest album Paper Trail has been certified gold after selling an astonishing 568,000 copies in its first week! According to the Nielsen Soundscan, this marks Tip's third consecutive time in which he's received the number one debut and the second time since 2006's King that he's gone gold within a week's time span. The Grammy-winning rapper's long-awaited sixth album features guest spots from artists such as Jay-Z, Lil' Wayne, Justin Timberlake and Rihanna; along with production by DJ Toomp, Swizz Beatz and Kanye West who created the star-studded hit Swagger Like Us.
