UPDATE (12/6/2010): Jarell took to his Myspace page to issue a statement to his fans regarding his recent arrest:

I wanted to reach out to my fans right away to clear up the allegations circulating the web. I did not get charged with any form of domestic violence against the mother of my children. I love and respect all of the women in my life and would never harm any of them. Domestic violence is a very serious matter and one that should be treated that way, however this was not a case of domestic abuse. I was taken into custody due to outstanding traffic violations. I took care of the situation, no charges were filed, and I was released Tuesday evening. Thank you to my fans who stood by me regardless of any circulating rumors. I am looking forward to a great year in 2010 for Fizz & Boog and hope that you will continue to support. Thank you.

Jarell "Boog" Houston

Good news for B2K's Jarrell Houston. The singer is our of jail and back home with his family after being arrested on Monday after a dispute with his girlfriend/fiancee/baby mother (depending on who you ask). No domestic violence charges will be filed against him. And more details have surfaced surrounding the incident. Yesterday Boog’s ex-B2K bandmate Dreux “Lil Fizz” Frederic and Damuer Leffridge -- the chief operations officer of Boog’s label, Popular Records -- reached out to VIBE.com to explain what they call a “cold twist” of the story picked up by the media today. According to Leffridge, Boog, who currently lives in a $3 million beach front house in the opulent Marina del Rey section of California, only got into a verbal dispute with his baby's mother, which alerted their neighbors.

“Me and Boog are like four or five streets apart,” says Leffridge. “We’re like the only black dudes in the neighborhood, amongst a lot of wealthy Caucasian people. And they don’t want to hear all that loud music and stuff. Jarell and them, they keep up a lot of noise -- this just the truth. And when him and her were screaming on each other on a Sunday afternoon, talking crazy, one of the neighbors decided to call the police. The reality is, the police came and they couldn’t get in the security gate. So they chose to jump the gate. Boog doesn’t always pay attention to the buzzer, so he doesn’t know when people are outside sometimes. So police was outside for awhile trying to get his attention. The police said that if [Boog and his girlfriend] hadn’t been so hostile they would have let them stayed, but because they were both screaming they chose to break them up and take him instead of taking her. She’s not interested in pressing charges. TMZ got it like he beat some woman to death, and that just didn’t happen. Boog went here today to see what the district attorney is going to do. He had like two or three traffic tickets that he needed to take care of. That’s the reason why he had to stay yesterday, to clean up the tickets.”

Looks like a former member of B2K has a problem with keeping his hands to his damn self. According to TMZ.com, J-Boog (real name Jarell Damonte Houston), 24, was arrested at his home yesterday afternoon on charges of 'corporal punishment on a spouse as well as for outstanding warrants relating to an allegedly bad driving record. Neighbors reportedly heard loud screams coming from the house earlier that day. Later on, cops in about 7 squad cars showed up on the scene and took Jarell into custody an hour later.

J-Boog -- who is unmarried -- is reportedly still dating his baby mama, Jondelle Michelle Lee although his Wikipedia page names Jondelle as his fiancee. The couple have 2 daughters: Anaia (4 years old) and Tru Cater (2 months old); and a son, Jarrell Jr. (3 years old).
