It's official! After nearly ten years together 35-year-old Tiny has finally taken 29-year-old T.I. off the bachelor's block! The couple, who have weathered many storms throughout their relationship (break-ups and make-ups, the loss of loved ones including their stillborn daughter, jail time), but always professed their love and support for one another were married TODAY at a Miami Beach courthouse. According to US Weekly, the couple will wed again in front of close family and friends on a small private island off the coast of Miami tomorrow (Saturday, July 31) before returning to their hometown of Atlanta for their wedding reception. Afterward they plan to fly to Las Vegas to continue to celebrate their lives together as husband and wife.

Many (mostly groupies and jump-offs, I'm sure) thought this day would never come because over the years and in countless interviews when asked when she and T.I. would tie the knot, Tiny would always reply 'real soon.' I don't think anyone took her seriously until last week when an anonymous source posted a portion of T.I. and Tiny's wedding invitations online (see here). Then an alleged partial list of T.I. and Tiny's wedding guests --that inlcuded Chris Brown, Lebron James (and his girlfriend Savannah, Diddy, Jay Z & Beyonce, Trey Songz, Kandi Burruss, Toya Carter, Keri Hilson, Tyra Banks, Monique, DJ Khalid and Jamie Foster Brown--was released that made people think, 'this just may be real.' Well, just in case any of you still don't believe it, TMZ.com got a snapshot of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Harris' marriage license (below) that lets us all know that yes, this is real.

I can't wait to see the photos. Atlanta-based photographer Robert Ector served as the official photographer for the wedding and rumor has it that the photos have already been sold to a popular magazine (my guess? Sister 2 Sister) for a whopping $300,000.00!

Looks like July 2010 is the month of celebrity weddings: actor/musician/Diddy's former manservant Fonzworth Bentley married his longtime girlfriend and actress Faune Chambers; Superbowl champion and New Orleans Saints defensive end Bobby McCray tied the knot with his girlfriend of two years Khadijah Haqq (she and her identical twin sister, Malika co-starred in the movie ATL with T.I.); Carmelo Anthony said 'I Do' to his longtime girlfriend LaLa Vasquez. Swizz Beatz will marry his boo Alicia Keys this month as well.

Patti made it perfect.

As we all know, B.E.T. honored Prince with their Lifetime Achievement Award. If you ask me, it was past due but still right on time, if that makes any sense. However, with the exception of Patti and Alicia Keys, I wasn't too happy with B.E.T.'s line-up of unknowns honoring Prince on Sunday night. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume Prince didn't really have a say in who'd he like to watch pay tribute to him? And I'm still trying to understand Trey Songz raggedy rendition of Prince's classic Purple Rain. Dude?! Huge FAIL! That so-called mini-tribute he called himself doing...well, we could have done without it. He was singing as if he was afraid to sing! And by the expression on Prince's face (click here) when the cameraman panned down to him, he wasn't feeling him either. Yall know Prince don't front for nobody! His facial expressions said it all. Just like he looked as if he was about to have a coronary episode when Alicia climbed on top of her piano before he started pumping his fist in the air (click here to see it)! All in all, without Alicia and Patti, that tribute was a big FAIL! I was hoping Prince would take to the stage and break out into his own performance.

And talk about keeping his acceptance speech short and sweet!

“I do believe the future is in good hands, I’ve seen so much talent here tonight. I was pretty wild in my younger days and you don’t have to do what I do,” he said, with a smile. You don’t have to make any of the mistakes that I made. The future is in your hands.”

Yall know how Diddy do! The mega-mogul gave his firstborn celebrity seed, Justin Dior Combs (who turned 16 back in December) a big, blown-out 'Prince of New York'--themed bash at the M2 Ultra Lounge in New York City last night. Earlier this week a press release was sent out stating that celebrities such as Beyonce, Jay-Z, Chris Brown (what?! Jay-Z and C.B. in the same room?!), Snoop Dogg and boxer Floyd Mayweather would be in the house. But from the pictures that I've seen, neither Jay, Bey or C.B. were in attendance. However, their no-shows didn't stop the party with celebrities like Teyana Taylor, Fabolous, Trey Songz, Lil Kim, DJ Clue, Heavy D., Fabolous, Vince Gill, Juelz Santana, Jim Jones, Irv Gotti, Diggy and JoJo Simmons being up in the place to be. Justin's mother and celebrity stylist Misa Hilton-Brim, his brothers Quincy (Kim Porter's biological son with Al B. Sure, as if you couldn't already tell) and Christian as well as his grandmother Janice Combs were also in attendance.

Justin pulled up to his party arm-in-arm with rapper Nicki Minaj as his 'Princess of New York'--at least for one night. Needless to say, the lavish party will be featured on an upcoming episode of My Super Sweet 16. And like I said before, yall know how Diddy do. No Diddy party would be complete without a grand coup-de-tat. At the end of the night, Diddy presented his son with a brand-new black Mercedes Benz Maybach. For a 16 year old?! It must be nice. Got my grown ass over here wishing Diddy was my damn Daddy. Justin was also given a $10,000 check, which he will donate to the Haiti fund to help earthquake victims.

Now if Diddy went above, beyond and all out for his firstborn, I can only imagine what he has up his sleeve for his youngest son and mini-me Christian who turns 16 in just four more years.

Several BlackCelebrityMen attended B.E.T.'s 3rd annual B.E.T. Honors ceremony on Saturday night in Washington D.C. Diddy, an honoree who received the Entrepreneur Award, brought his mom, Janice, as his date for the evening. Mary J. Blige also paid tribute to her former mentor by performing a medley of hit singles (I Love You and Be Happy, Love No Limit)that he produced for her back in the day. Stevie Wonder partnered up with Trey Songz and neo-soul singer India.Arie to pay tribute to the late Teddy Pendergrass. The trio sung Wake Up Everybody. Maxwell, Ryan Leslie and Take 6 also performed.

To see the honorees accept their blue and purple statuettes, catch The BET Honors when it airs February 1 at 9 p.m. EST on BET.

Singers Tank and LeToya Luckett star in Preacher's Kid which hits theaters on January 29, 2010. The film revolves around twenty-something year old Angie King who seeks to experience life on her own terms after growing up a preacher's daughter. Angie joins a traveling gospel show in this contemporary retelling of The Prodigal Son. When Angie discovers just how difficult life on the road can be, she hesitates to return home with nothing to show for herself, and for fear that her father doesn't lover her anymore.

Clifton Powell, Trey Songz, Essence Atkins, Dawnn Lewis, Andre Butler and Javen Campbell also star in the film. Check out the trailer below.

Usher's new album Raymond vs. Raymond, which still doesn't have a tentative release date since being pushed back this month, hasn't kept the singer from preparing for it. This week Usher released a promo trailer for R vs. R and it's hot! I love it! usherfan2, who happens to be a poster/member on Usher's largest and most popular fan site Usherforever.com had this to say about the concept of the album's trailer which I agree with 100%:

I get the concept of the video. The gray of the video represents the good Usher that we all see in public. But the side that's in color shows the Usher that we don't see. Which shows Raymond Vs Raymond.

Let me find out I'm ready for the release of this album. And for me, that says a lot because the last time I bought an Usher album was when he released 8701 on 8-7-01. True story.

Also a photo (above) of what some are saying could be the actual cover for his new album, while others refer to it as just a promo pic also hit the blogosphere this week. No confirmation from Usher or his camp as to whether or not the photo will be used as his official album cover. Hopefully his camp will release a statement to clear all of this up because various web sources are also claiming Usher's new album will not hit stores until March 2010...three months away. I guess only time will tell. In the meantime and in between time, his single Papers continues to hold the number one spot on the Billboard R&B charts and after listening to Usher put it down on Trey Songz I Invented Sex (Remix).....
